It is my pleasure to introduce myself as John Teueli the aspiring fashion designer and entrepreneur.
My mission in life is to inspire and educate young people who see a future in the creative space. As they step into the unknown, I help them find their footing.
As a young school leaver, I feel like Atamai online is the perfect opportunity for me to help other school leavers, students and graduates to understand the hurdles faced when transitioning in to the workspace. Things such as planning a career and setting the right personal and professional goals which suit people’s skills and talents.
When I’m not doing administrative work for Atamai Online, I run my own small business called IOANE (based in Vaitele, Samoa) and I am an aspiring fashion designer and creative.
I like to say IOANE is a brand by our people for all people. Among our specialties are bag making, elei, and sewing. We want everyone to be able to carry a bit of Samoa with them everywhere. Our collection has meaningful touches that bring our Aganuu story to life. Our bags are a tangible representation of this legacy, artfully designed to capture our culture's beauty and spirit. Bringing our story to life one bag at a time. Every piece is made with love and the absolute desire to portray the essence of our "Aganuu" Through our unique designs and intricate details, we are able to tell the story of our heritage. Each bag is a testament to the love and passion behind our culture.
